Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His global success has seen his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. In Medellin, the Sony label La Industria Inc. released ADN his debut long player. It peaked at number eight in the Top Latin Albums chart. Following that year, he joined forces with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which climbed to the top of five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. In his interviews, he's described participating in music as compulsory. When he was a kid, he began learning to play saxophone guitar as well as piano and ukulele. While his initial career choice was to become a veterinarian His brother Julian convinced him to take lessons in singing with the help of a Cuban teacher and the end outcome of discovering his talents in the field of singing changed his entire life.
