Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international advancements into Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN the first of his long-players for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It was atop the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached No. 8. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna as well as him the year following. Mala Influencia was his collaboration with Noriel in 2020. In the following season, Dopamina was his follow-up album. Later in 2021 he performed the duet for TINI's streaming smash track Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo was brought up in a music-oriented environment since both his mom and older brother are professional musicians. In his interviews, he's talked about participating in music as compulsory. He was taught how to play the guitar, saxophone ukulele, and piano as an infant. In spite of initially wanting to become a veterinarian, Julian convinced him that taking lessons with an Cuban music teacher could change the direction of his career.
